FIEGE has joined the latest funding round of Voltfang, a fast-growing clean technology start-up specializing in advanced battery storage systems. Founded in 2020, Voltfang is emerging as a key player in Europe’s energy transition, offering cutting-edge storage solutions for industrial, commercial and grid-scale applications. The company recently closed its Series B financing round, raising €15 million with participation from both new and existing investors.
As Europe accelerates its shift toward renewable energy, the demand for high-performance, sustainable battery storage is surging. Businesses across the industrial and commercial sectors are increasingly seeking scalable energy storage to boost efficiency, maximize self-consumption and lower both costs and carbon emissions.
Led by founders David Oudsandji, Roman Alberti, and Afshin Dootsdar, Voltfang will use the new capital to expand its production capabilities. The goal: to deploy an additional 250 megawatt-hours of sustainable battery capacity across Europe by the end of 2026.
Jens Fiege, Co-CEO of FIEGE, commented: “Voltfang delivers exactly what the logistics sector and beyond need to future-proof their operations: a technologically advanced, environmentally responsible and economically viable energy storage solution. Our investment goes beyond financial support – we’re also contributing our infrastructure and industry know-how to accelerate the adoption of efficient energy storage in logistics.”
Congratulations to the entire Voltfang team. We’re proud to support you and look forward to shaping the future of energy together.
